We rented all the big tools that we used in refinishing our hard wood floors at Home Depot. MY husband love the customer service there, they would really go out and help you what you need for your project unlike the Lowe's here in our area. I am glad that they have a home rental section out there. Hubby never used any of these nor have done a refinishing floors but he got it done. He watches videos on youtube on how to do it.
He rented this edger for me to use but he ended up using it because it was too strong for me. I used the orbital sander which was the size that I can managed to handle. This project had been a learning experience for both of us. We have learned the different tools that needs to be used and the process on how to do it. We made some mistakes along the way but that is part of the process. So far, we have spent under two thousand for this project which is a lot cheaper than hiring a contractor around here.
