It's been a month since we closed the sale of the house that we bought. We finally got the key the other day after the former owner has moved out. We signed a contract that we will give the former owner 30 days after the closing which was not an issue because we are not in a hurry to move out our current home. During our last walk thru in the house, the former owner asked us if we would like the bedroom set furniture in one of the bedrooms and we told him that whatever he doesn't want to take when he moves out, we will take.
This twin beds set is actually beautiful. He even left the old bedding in it. My daughter is thinking of getting these bedroom furniture for her bedroom and give her bedroom furniture to his brother.
As I have mentioned before, this new home that we bought does not have an air conditioning system. The former owner has two window AC units and he also left that for us but since this home has four bedrooms, we will need more AC unit to cool this house down during the summer time.

Buying a house is exciting but moving stresses me out! I have started cleaning the kitchen as it needed it but since my husband will be sanding the wooden floors, it might not be a good idea that I did that but for now, I can't stand looking at a dirty sink and counters so I cleaned them off.

Where I live I could use a whole lot of fans. I have ceiling fans but sometimes you need more than that when you live in a hot desert.
What a pretty bedroom set! I love Ozeri too, I have a few of their fans and they are fantastic. I lost one of the remotes and can't find it though but the fans still work.
I LOVE that fan! I live in the south, so I definitely know the value of a good fan. It gets so hot and sticky down here.

I really like this style of fan, much better than the traditional floor fan. It takes up much less space, and is much safer when you have little ones around! It works great too :-)

The furniture is perfect for a little girl. That is awesome that the old owner left it for you. Furniture is expensive. You can even redo it, if it isn't your taste. I think it is beautiful though. Maybe some new girly bedding would make it your daughters style.
I don't know what I would do without AC in the summer time. It gets so hot here. At least you have a few window AC units. I had those in a trailer and two cooled off my 1000 square feet surprisingly well. The fans should help too.

What beautiful furniture! Looks very similar to the set that I had and now my daughter has, which was my mom's when she was a young girl. I'd love one of these fans, or heck even a few for various rooms in the house.

My house is an oven in summer. We have to sleep with the windows open at night otherwise its very uncomfortable. We have a few fans at home.
