During our getaway in Texas, the package that we got for our travel, included a Town and Country van to drive around. My husband love it that when we came back, he looked for the same vehicle for sale. We found a used one at Staffilino dealership in Ohio. It has a 21,747 and was valued $2,000 less than it's value from the blue book so we jumped on the deal.
With our kids growing up, our Honda Accord is getting smaller for us especially when we bring our dogs with us. My husband has been talking to me about buying a van for the last couple of years but I kept saying no. For one, I did not want the stress of having a monthly car loan payment and second, I am terrified of driving. I had my license from 8 years ago but I drove maybe 5 times on those years.
Don't raise your eyebrows on me, I never drove in my life till I met my husband. I used to live in my country where public transportation is everywhere and only rich people have their own car. When I came here in the US, I have to have a license because most of the times, business establishments ask for it whenever you deal a business with them.
This 2012 Town and Country Touring is a 4 wheel drive and lots of features that we like. What I like the most is the back up camera as I am horrible in backing up. In fact, I hate the parking part of driving. Driving on the road is not a problem for me but the parking. I am also have a horrible sense of direction so I could never drive farther than Weirton.
This is a fully loaded van which is why even if it is a Chrysler one, hubby likes it. He prefers Honda car so I was really shocked that he liked this one
This van is a stow and go with foldable seats, sliding doors, and lots of other neat features such as DVD player with monitor for the kids to watch their movie. It's a nice van, I must admit. I just hope that I could shake off this fear of driving that I have in me. I took them for a short drive yesterday and I was so nervous. Luckily, we didn't wreck so that was a good start lol. So wish me luck!
This is by the way one of my husband's birthday gifts to me aside from the trip to Texas. Thanks Hon!
