Walmart Giftcard as a Form of Apology

Before  the end of the year of 2012, we did a quick trip to Walmart to get  something that we  need for New Year.  My son got one of their holiday Pez, we paid for it, but I don't know what the associate did  because when our son asked for it in our car, we did not find it.  My husband went back to the store and ask the cashier if we left the said item in her counter and  she  gave him an attitude.  My husband came back at our car at the parking lot empty handed.  He was so upset by the way the cashier responded to the situation so he sent an email containing what we've experienced.

The store manager tried to reached for us but we were not home when they called.  I was surprised to received this gift card from Walmart yesterday stating their apology.  That was nice of them to do so but I hope that the said cashier was reprimanded.

  3. Wow I am glad you got that fixed before other people start coming through.

I am shocked Walmart was so nice. I seem to have only bad experiences where that company is concerned!

That's a great photo and very interesting for Ruby Tuesday though!

    Happy day! :-)

  4. I had a very bad Wal-Mart experience the first time I went there (in 1994), and seldom have gone back.

  5. It pays to complain when cashiers are rude. However, it's always good to write to a store if the cashier has been especially helpful.

  6. Good thing your husband complained cause if we let them get away with it they will just continue being rude to others.

  8. Good thing that you wrote them a letter, in this way they can have a good and quality service and assessed their employees behavior as well.

  9. Hi Purses and Bags, they are talking about the stock of products that aren't available in the store as my husband mentioned it to the letter as well.

  10. complaining about the kind of service a company provides to its clients is such a great act for them to be aware that they are not meeting customers need

  11. I always encounter unfriendly cashier, they don't smile but. it is irritating but so far, nothing untoward incident yet that will irk me. They should learn to be nice with all the costumers, white or other nationalities.

  13. there's a lot of cashiers that have nasty attitude. and if people don't complain about it, the nasty attitude will stay and lots of customer will have a bad experience. the least Walmart can do is offer a GC for the inconvenience.

  16. I am a Walmart shopper and so far, here where I live, I have never had a bad experience with them pa. Sana naman, wala. I always appreciate their customer service. Sa vegas though, I've experienced dealing with a cashier na may attitude din. Too bad kasi Pinoy din sya. Hambog masyado!
