I don't know why but every time we visit my FIL, he always hands things to the kids just like this Vivitar Point of View compact binocular that he gave to Mr. Burrito.
This is a great device to see things/places that are in long distance.
I advised my FIL not to give us these stuff because there are other kids who might want to have it, but he told me that he could do whatever he wants to it because he owns it. What can I say but "Thank You Dad!"Link with me every Friday through Color Connection. You can post any color that you like. Just click the badge below to link up.
Ganun ata talaga. My MIL and FIL are also doing that to their grandkids. Have a fabulous week.

I'm a grandma but I wouldn't give any of my stuff to someone who wasn't interested in it. I'm too much of a pack rat. It would be better to get rid of it now than burden my kids with all this stuff when I die. But I'm hanging onto it for now. I think binoculars are wonderful. I have a set in my kitchen and almost every day I spy on the roaming deer in my back yard. Most kids would love to see things close up through binoculars And what does Ganun ata talag mean?
ReplyDeleteYep, that's what I say to my grandkids and their parents now that I'm older!
ReplyDeleteThose are very nice binoculars!
now they can go bird watching. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Faye, "Ganun lang talaga" means "It's the way it is."

What a great gift for your children. And they will learn from using them too. Thank you for contributing to Mandarin Orange Monday.
