Now, it would be cheaper to just buy some corn in the store especially now that it's on sale, but the fact that my kids wanted to experience planting it is worth every dime we paid. Did you know that the main pigment in Yellow Indian corn is called zeaxanthin? According to crosswordsolver.org zeaxanthin is the yellow carotenoid (isomeric with lutein and occurs widely with it) in the said corn.

Sweet post AND sweet looking corn. I love sweet summer corn - I hope your crop is all you hope it will be - I'm sure it will taste better than any store bought ears!
ReplyDeleteAh, you just gave me a clue as how to find words with difficult letters...crosswordsolver.org. Thank you!!

There is very little that's better than fresh sweet corn straight from the garden! Great experience for them.
