Last week, these cherries were $2.48 a pound at Walmart but when we checked it this weekend, the price was lowered to $1.98 a pound, so we bought some.
I am glad that we tried it because they were so sweet. We are planning to buy some more as the kids love it!

Cherries are a favorite here so we have them in the fridge throughout the season. I had some today for lunch. For July 4th we dipped the bottoms in white chocolate and they were amazing and beautiful, too.
I love cherries, but somehow managed to develop and allergy to them and it breaks my heart. That said, they were always more magical when they were so very seasonal; now it seem you can buy them any time. My story this week is called Culmen ’79.

You can't beat Walmart prices unless you shop at a farmer's market. I love cherries when they are sweet, although I prefer them pitted. I like most fruits.

Cherries and peaches are my absolute favorites -- but they have to be sweet. We know that summer is really here when tey are in the stores.
Cherries have that sweet yet tart taste, little ruby orbs that are perfect in summer. Now if there were a way to make them seedless...
