Here's a big tall tree that fell down when we had that big gush of wind a couple of weeks ago. I feel bad for those families who lost their homes in other states.

Knick Knacks
My late MIL had so many knick knacks in their home. My FIL cleans it every so often. He said that it's what his late wife would always do, to maintain their curio clean so her display will shine.
These are just some of the displays that I took pictures of.The salt and pepper are cute!

Stolen from Texas
This is a coffee mug that my husband uses at my FIL's kitchen whenever they are having a coffee chat. He wouldn't use any mug but this and he considers it as his lol. Oh, did I mentioned that my late MIL has beautiful Dinner Sets? My father -in-law cleans it once in a while.
Hope you guys is having a wonderful day. The sky is gloomy at our end and we are suppose to have a rainstorm again today.

Trinity Hospital
My brother Dave who was recently got a cancer operation at UPMC was rushed to Trinity Hospital in Ohio last Saturday. He was losing too much weight that if he wasn't brought right away, he could've not made, as the doctor said. His surgery got infected and the doctors had to cut him open again.
Anyhow every time, we go to a hospital, we always see crows around. Is it true that they are collecting the soul of those who died?
see the crow at the corner of the roof top of the hospital?

Kid Time
Pictures were taken the other day at Starvaggi Park.
Our little man was hanging out with the little girls who were at the park that day. He asked us if he could play with those girls and then he said "I like them because they are pretty!"
Due to constant rain, the muclh in the park were flooded out, it was washed away to the parking area.

Little Helpers
Our Burritos were in the mood to help us clean the house last weekend. So we let them started cleaning by vacuuming the bottom part of the couch and love seat.
It's a good feeling when your children wants to help and be involved with things inside our home.Mr. Burrito doesn't want to be called little boy anymore so he is showing us how big he is now by helping to clean.
I will miss this moments when they are grown up and will move out already. I know it is too early to think about it but I do have thoughts like that especially when the house is very silent.

Red Vase
Do you see the red vase and red flowers at the back of the dried roses? We bought that vase at a flea market, it only cost us $14 bucks including the three long stemmed glass flowers. I was going to buy some more of the glass flowers online but they are expensive.

NO Rain
Thanks God, there's no rain today. The weather is warm and everything is dry.
For a couple of weeks, we have been having rain almost everyday.
These photos were taken some time ago last week.
Glad to finally have a great day free of rain!

Making Flour - Nostalgia # 51
When I first came to visit my wife's family in the Philippines, she let me experience things that she used to do when she was growing up like making flour out of soaked rice. Her brother Nick showed me how to pound it with the wooden mortar, we sifted it with this home made sifter. I was pretty impressed how they do that. I love their "sinapot" or my wife say its "maruya" in tagalog.
That's my wife's parent's former home on the background. We had this house knocked down and built a bigger one made of concrete. I had so much fun during my very first visit there.
