Kids's Photography

Our two burritos love to take pictures.  Most of the time they are out of proportions but we keep them anyway to encourage them to get better each time.

These were captured by both of them, the first two sets were Ms. Burrito's.

These last sets of photos were captured by Mr,. Burrito.

Good job  my sweet burritos, I know that you will get it perfect  someday.  These are small proof that you guys never gives up, so keep trying.  You are our superstars anyway!

Piles of Snow

got spoiled of the four warm days last week and I thought that there would be no snow coming but I was wrong as we got so much yesterday.

See the pile of snow that is taller than the building?

The road is very wet now that the snow is starting to melt, whew.

Valentine Card - Nostalgia # 41

My father was cleaning out one of his drawers and throwing old magazines away the other day and he found this old valentine card that I sent them many years ago.

My wife was laughing at me with the message that I wrote to my parents. She find it very hilarious that he asked my Dad if she could keep the card. My dad said that she can have it so now I am sharing it here for you.

Doctor Visit

The photo below was taken when we brought our burritos to the doctor today. There was a huge aquarium in their waiting area and it is an entertainment for the kids.  Since fish starts with F, this post is linked to ABC Wednesday.

Care Bears

I took shot of the care bear bubble baths that my sister in law gave to our burritos a couple of years ago. They are empty already but I don't throw them because the kids love to play with it whenever they take a bat.

My daughter saw me when I took picture of it so she sneaked out and took the second shot hehehe.

Through the Window

I am not sure who of my burritos took this shot but I kept it anyway in my hard drive. This was taken one day when they were taking a bath. I am glad that they did not soak the camera in the water hehehe.

Tomlinson Run Swimming Pool.

This was taken last year when we brought our kids to Tomlinson Run, a 30-minute drive from where we live. The park was huge and this pool is just one of the many amenities present there.

Our kids can't wait for warm weather once again so they could enjoy outdoor activities in full.

February Celebrants - Nostalgia # 40

Some of you might have seen the photo above at my wife's blog but I am posting it again here. I just want to dedicate this post to my father who never cease to show his love for my mother. He never failed to visit her for every occasion, even if it meant that he has to walk on snow.

We visited last Sunday because it was my Mom's birthday. There are four people in the family who celebrates birthday in February. First up is our dear mother, then today is the birthday of my niece Tina, tomorrow will be mine, and on the 26th is my brother who passed away 7 years ago.

Go Fish

Here's our burritos playing "Go Fish". Don't ask me how to play it coz I don't know lol.

Ms Burrito was teaching Mr. Burrito the numbers on this game. Good job ate!

Carnation

I took some shots of flowers when we went to Krogers last week. My husband was smiling when I started clicking the camera lol. What can I do? I just love flowers! Don't you? 

Photographs & Memories

My wife is planning to rename this blog and make it into Photographs & memories. What do you think? Would the picture above be good as a logo design for the above mentioned title? Your ideas and suggestions will be highly appreciated!

Kitchen Chairs

Our kitchen chairs makes a great shadow pattern, do you agree? I love these set of chairs that we bought, the only thing that bothers me are the things that are attached at the bottom of the legs, they kept coming off. I think that the screws' thread are no longer good.

Down the Mailbox

I feel like this year's winter is very very long. I can't wait till spring and summer so that we could enjoy the outdoors again, take pictures of beautiful water spots and not just like the one I took above.

Camping and Hunting

My birthday is coming up so my wife bought me some hunting gears. My friend Tom and I are planning to go hunting next year so I am slowly gathering the stuff I need, thanks hon for the gifts! I still have some things to buy but at least I have the major ones that I need.

Camping and hiking were some of our most favorite outdoor activities when we were still in Korea. Now that we are back, I would like to be able to do that here with my wife and kids. I am comparing prices of the hiking boots and Sleeping Bag at shopwiki and I am glad to know that it isn't that expensive as I have anticipated.

I like Shopwiki because it revolutionizes the shopping experience of buyers/consumers like me. It gives us the option to find the best possible deals there is online. With thousands of stores in their list, you won't get off the Internet without finding the best deals for stuff. You also get to read their buying guides so in a way, you are being informed before you buy the product.

Cowboy

One of those days where my FIL is feeling ornery hehehe.  He wore this hat to make the kids laugh.

 I love my FIL very much.  He is  a kind of person that you will easily like because he is humorous and kind.

That is why our burritos love him so much! 

Cabella's Display

I went to Cabella's with my friend Tom last Friday and I brought the camera with me. I know that my wife would like to have some photos of the place as they have never been there. There are animal display at Cabella's, some are stuffed and some are not.

Patriotism

My FIL gave this pin to my daughter. It's a perfect timing too as the school is celebrating Catholic School Week and the theme for today is showing patriotism. Students are required to wear Red, White, and Blue, so Ms. Burrito wore the above mentioned color and pinned this on her top. Thanks for those who served and continue to serve.

Korean Navy's Mini Cups - Nostalgia # 38

Aside from photos, this is the only souvenir that my wife and I bought during the Indoctrination that we attended together when we first arrived in Korea. We were required to attend this practice in order to familiarize ourselves with the new place. We had to leave our two kids to our Filipino neighbors for a day, thanks to Ms. Lelet for watching the kids for us.

I was looking at the available jobs for retired sailors and I found some job openings at the base where I was assigned. I asked my daughter if he would be willing to move there hoping that she would say no because of her school but I was surprised that he said YES without hesitation. They really love Korea.
