Since Balikbayan boxes are being taxed in the Philippines now, I decided to just sell my kids pre-loved clothes through an online consignment place called Swap. This is my second time sending pre-loved clothes to them. I wish that the Phil. government is not being greedy and tax balikbayan boxes. Heck, the value of the items I will sent is lower than the tax that the receiver will pay for it so I will just sell it here and send the money back home. But anyway, I sent it last month and is just now being listed. I guess a lot of people are sending in items that they are backlogged with so many. Here are the items I sent to them.
These dresses are barely worm. Sometimes, my daughter doesn't like wearing certain kid of dress.

I think an online swap like this is an awesome idea. I have lots of clothes that my little man has outgrown that I should do this with.

I use an online yard sale to sell a lot of our clothes that are still in great shape. The draw back is it is local only. I like the sound of the consignment site.

My daughter is really particular on the dresses she wears and we end up with selling or giving away a lot of nice dresses because she doesn't like the way they fit. I haven't ever used a consignment store but there is one in town we buy from a good bit.
I think an online swap like this is an great idea. I normally give stuff to family or donate it to the thrift stores - but this could totally work too.
