Fawn

During the first day of our daughter's school. We went to fetch her early so we have to stand by in front of the church where the kids will be sent by the prospective teachers. While waiting, my son and I went on the side of the church and saw something. I thought that it was a statue at first but then the eyes of the fawn moved.
She was just laying and relaxing there like she was having a very good time.
But then she ran away when the kids started going out from the school. I am glad that she let me take some pictures though.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

What a fortunate sighting...we have fawns that run through our fields daily but what a pleasure for you and your son to see one up so close, and in such a lovely setting.
You were blessed for sure.

Oh, so very sweet. You must be thrilled that you were able to get some beautiful photos before she ran away. How beautiful to see her resting in the garden of flowers.

Lucky indeed! She looks like she is laying there waiting for Mama to come get her.
I feel like she might have lost her Mama as it would be rare for them not to be too far apart.
You got great shots!

It's taken me awhile to get around this week. Thanks for your visit to my deer. :)
