My wife is so scared of worms but she isn't scared of spiders. She said that they used to play with spiders when she was a kid. I on the other hand is the opposite. I can hold worms of any kind but there is no way I would be near spiders.
My daughter saw this scary looking spiders at the creek down West Union when we visited my Aunt last month.

Im scared of spiders too, the big one.. I also used to play with small spiders fighting with the other spider when I was a kid. I think Ate Rose used to do that also =)

With me, I'm not scared with spiders nor worms, but yeah they're both icky...my son, he kinda screams like a girl whenever he sees spiders...
Now that is one big spider! I'm not afraid of spiders, snakes however are another thing.
Any form of insects and creepy crawler types freak me out. However, that being said, this is a cool shot of the spider though I would never want to get that close. I'd have to use my zoom lens :D
